Dear Valued Customer
 
We understand your concerns about entering our barber shop following the lockdown restrictions being relaxed, and this notification is to assure you that we have done all we can to protect your health, safety and wellbeing whilst you are visiting our shop.  The safety of our customers is our highest priority, and is of paramount importance to us.
 
This is to inform you of the following precautions that have been implemented.
 
We have:

  • Cleaned and disinfected all surfaces, implements and capes.
  • Removed any non-essential items throughout the shop.
  • Acquired appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used when necessary, and as directed by the Government.
  • Discontinued the practice of hand shaking and other non-essential contact.
  • Implemented a one in, one out policy; only the customer in the chair is allowed in the shop, and the work station will be cleaned before the next customer is permitted entry.
  • Closed the toilet.
 
We request that you:
 
  • Please wait outside until we can seat you in the barber chair.
  • Wear a mask and gloves, or wash your hands on entry.  If you don’t have a mask, you can purchase one from the shop.
 
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while these measures are in place.

Welcome To The Town Barber

Hello, and welcome to the Town Barber located in the beautiful market town of Swaffham, Norfolk. I have been in the barbering trade for more than 30 years, and offer traditional haircuts in my Swaffham based premises, which has been operating since 2002.

No appointments are necessary - it's a come in and wait service, which basically means take a seat and wait your turn. During busy times you may have to wait, so we provide our customers with daily newspapers, magazines and even flat-screen television to keep you occupied.

So, if you live in Swaffham or the surrounding area, and would like a traditional haircut by a fully qualified barbers, please come in and pay us a visit. We are open every day except Sunday and bank holidays - check out our opening times and prices pages.
